I'm excited to announce my debut EP "Afterimage" – a collection of five tracks that follow emotional threads across genre boundaries.
When Stories Find Their Sound
As I’ve been exploring creating AI-collaborative music, I’ve deliberately infused my personal experiences and emotions into the lyrics and feel of each song. What’s been liberating is allowing each song to find its own unique sonic expression without being shackled to a single genre or sound limitation.
Looking at these five tracks, I realized they could form a cohesive album. Despite their varied sonic landscapes, the underlying emotional thread creates a consistent narrative, and showcases how this AI-collaborative approach an album to span genres, enhancing the mood and sound of each individual track, while maintaining consistency, telling a story that bridges across the collection.
Before this approach, I might have forced all of my songs into the same sonic box. Now I can easily iterate and explore: what does this story want to sound like? What best serves these emotions? It’s brought freedom to the process that feels revolutionary.
Work in Progress & Feedback Welcome
